What is a good ACNE treatment? HELP!!?

I don%26#039;t have a lot, but i want to have clear skin. what is good out there? should i try proactiv?|||A great product is Neutrogena Oil-Free Daily Scrub following with their Pore Refining Toner and 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment (it%26#039;s like a lotion basically). It works wonders! It made my skin clear in the few days that I%26#039;ve been using it.

Proactiv only works if you%26#039;re not allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide.

I%26#039;m allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide so when I used Proactiv, my skin was very dry and had red spots all over my face. It wasn%26#039;t a pretty sight.

When you start using Proactiv, your skin will be more dependent on the products. If you forget to use it one night, your skin will break out even more than what you had before.

I recommend using Neutrogena Scrub because it works better than Proactiv and it%26#039;s cheaper.

Hope this helps and best of luck! =]|||I%26#039;ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it%26#039;s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I%26#039;m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I%26#039;ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It%26#039;s unique cause of it%26#039;s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn%26#039;t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.|||I%26#039;m studying to be a dermatologist. First, I%26#039;ll tell you what some of the main causes of acne are: Hormones, Stress, Heavy or Oily Make-Up, Diets, Genes, Sweat, Dirt, Oil, Picking, Plucking, and Squeezing, Oil from when Your Hair gets on Your Face, Clogged Pores, Irritation, and Certain Face Washes. What you always need in your acne wash is Salicylic Acid. Not very many acne washes have this (surprisingly) except for Clearasil and and Neutrogena. I use Clearasil and it has definitely worked for me and I noticed a difference in just one week. When you start using a new acne wash, it%26#039;s a good idea to only use it once a day and gradually increase to two or three times a day. You should wash your face before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning and of course whenever you get sweaty (after sports, work, etc.). After you wash your face, wait 5-15 min. before you put anything on your face. The water could still be on your face or in your pores even if it%26#039;s not visible, so you have to wait for it to dry. Once you%26#039;ve waited, put Benzoyl Peroxide on your face (can be found in Clearasil Creams). The Benzoyl Peroxide will reduce zit size and redness and prevent acne from coming back. Be careful when you use Benzoyl Peroxide because if it gets in your hair, it could bleach the part it touched. The only good part about it, is that it will bleach facial hairs and make them not as visible. You also should not put on Benzoyl Peroxide if you are going out in the sun. If the sun has contact with the Benzoyl peroxide it could bleach your skin and leave a mark. Do not put on Benzoyl Peroxide if you have a sunburn on your face because it will dry out the sunburn and cause pealing. It%26#039;s best if you use the same brand of products. I do not recommend using toners, astringents, or pads. Exfoliaters are not good for your face unless you have really dry skin. If you don%26#039;t have a lot of dry skin, don%26#039;t use exfoliaters because it can irritate your acne and cause more acne to appear. Do not pick or pop acne because it will only irritate it and create more acne. Also be sure to stay on a healthy diet and drink plenty of water. Good Luck!!|||Hello

There are many ways that can help you to get rid or at least reduce your acne.

here are some tips that were helpful for me to cure my acne:

Water

Drink plenty of water every day. Try drinking at least two liters of still mineral water. If the skin becomes dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and further acne.

Sunshine and fresh air

Sunshine stimulates the creation of vitamin D in our body - an essential vitamin for healthy skin. A little bit of fresh air and sunshine every day will also reduce the stress and increase oxygen to your skin. Even when it%26#039;s overcast, the sun%26#039;s rays reach us, so it%26#039;s very good to take a short walk outside every day.

Reduce your intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates

There is recent research pointing the finger at diet - eating refined carbohydrates (white bread, pasta, rice, flour etc) and sugar leads to a surge in insulin and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. This in turn leads to an excess of male hormones, which encourage the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum. This grease-like substance encourages the growth of bacteria responsible for acne.

Refined carbs/sugar = more insulin = more hormones = more sebum (oil) = more bacteria = more acne

The bed sheets

Keep your bed sheets clean. Wash your pillow case on a regular schedule to reduce the transfer of our natural body oils.

Wash your face

Wash your face only one time a day. Don%26#039;t wash too many times , because that will cause only more production of oil on your skin. you can also use very gentle cleansers for normal skin that don%26#039;t dehydrate the skin and wash twice a day.

Anyhow, don%26#039;t go out and buy those %26quot;get rid of your acne in one day%26quot; pills that you can find anywhere online, they just don%26#039;t work and you will spend your money for nothing.

Why not? Well, because it takes time to get rid of acne and you will need at least one week to see any noticeable results. There is absolutely no way to cure your acne immediately.

If you really want to treat your acne there are two recommended ways that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that%26#039;s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few recommended Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their guides they share their great knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can learn about the fasest system and one of the most popular guides that can help you to get rid of your acne from the inside here:

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it%26#039;s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.

You can find useful and helpful information about the leading acne skin care products here:

Don%26#039;t give up, acne is something that can be cure, good luck...|||Yes, you should try ProActiv or you can go with your family%26#039;s pediatrician and he/she will prescribe a low dose of acne fighting medicine. They help a lot. Good luck!
