i have been ttc for 4 years now and havent yet got there and i was on acne treatment for about 7 years i have herd that it can stop you from becoming pregnant?
please help
me and husband really wanna have a family|||what kind of acne treatment are you on? i can%26#039;t think of any that woud actually make you infertile.
to the girl%26#039;s answer above mine, NO retin A will not affect fertility! It won%26#039;t stop you from getting pregnant, but it can mess up baby%26#039;s development if you happened to get pregnant while taking it! it is not a form of birth control... in fact, if you are taking some forms of it, like Accutane, the Dr. will make you be on two forms of birth control becasue of how scary it would be if you were to get prego while on it!|||If you are no longer taking it it should be out of your system.
I recommend getting a product disclosure statement or checking on the net to see if it causes infertility.
