Moisturizer and Acne treatment?

I can%26#039;t wear foundation or anything to cover up acne because my face dries out extremely easily. I%26#039;ve tried a ton of things for cover up but after a few weeks (now, it can be even sooner) my skin gets immune to it and it dries out.

What is a good type of acne treatment?

What is a very good type of moisturizer?

Thanks In Advance (:|||get clean and clear moisturizer! it fights pimples too! And get a kit if u have a lot of acne. something i really recommend is the clean and clear acne spot treatment! it honestly gets rid of pimples overnight! or close!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||Go to this website and try the Timeless Prescriptions 3 step acne kit and a product called prevaderm. I use it and it REALLY WORKS for my acne and it doesn%26#039;t dry my skin (the last step is the moisturizer) If you shop online at all, you can go to the site and shop ma partners (which are pretty much any online store out there) and get points towards getting the product for free. I have tried almost everything out there from natural remedies to proactiv and this is the only thing that I have found that works.|||See your doctor, or GP. There is a whole range of spot tackling creams, washes, and tablets. Your doctor or GP will prescribe you with one which suits you. I use one called PanOxyl, it%26#039;s really strong but works, it may dry your skin out a little but you just need to use moisturisor, and be patient.

And I suggest Simple. Your skin is clearly sensitive, so alcohol in the moisturiser may come out in rashes. Simple has no perfume, colourings, and is good on sensitive skin.

Good luck xo|||Neutrogena%26#039;s nice :%26gt;

Or you can try uhm... confsulting a dermatologist so that the derma dude can help you with that :) :)|||Take chances! Make mistakes! Get messy!|||Go to your dermatologist and ask what they think is best for your skin type.|||I know you must be frustrated.

But before you purchase any product....

.....here%26#039;s some advice I think can help.

First of all you should discover the cause of your acne.

By that I mean...is your acne caused by your hormones? Or is it caused by improper skin care practices?

Here%26#039;s how to find out.....

At which area of your face do you usually break out first?

Is it on your chin?

Or..... is it on your forehead or cheeks?

If the answer is the chin...then your acne is due to your hormones.

But if it%26#039;s either your forehead or your cheeks...then its due to improper skin care practices.

I really hope that the answer isn%26#039;t your chin. This type of acne (hormonal acne) is more difficult to treat.

You will have to visit a doctor. And he/she may prescribe acne medication.

But if it%26#039;s due to improper skin care practices...it can easily be treated. And by the way improper skin care practices is the phrase I use for persons who....

....are constantly touching their faces with their hands, hair or other foreign objects (pens, cellphones, etc).

To treat this type of acne will require a strict daily skin care routine. One which involves deep cleansing and exfoliation.

These two processes will keep the pores clean. As well as remove debris and dead skin cell.

Now for the 2nd question...

Dryness doesn%26#039;t only occur at the surface of the skin. The deep layers of living skin cells (the dermis) also dries out.

So a moisturizer alone will not work.

A moisturizer will only treat the surface layer. But your face can still feel tight and dry after.

Instead look for a deep moisturizing serum. This will be more appropriate.

A Serum is designed to penetrate deeply into the skin. Therefore it can supply moisture to both the surface and the dermis.

So instead of only using a moisturizer also consider a serum.
