Allergic reaction to acne treatment?

my eyelids are puffed up a little, this has happened before with a previous acne treatment but this time it%26#039;s not so bad. What should I do to reduce the swelling?|||It%26#039;s too bad that I don%26#039;t know whether this is a med you took internally or just applied topically. I%26#039;m guessing it probably contains alcohol and Benzoyl Peroxide both which can irritate/dry the skin. That is why it usually says to avoid applying around mucus membranes (and this means the eye area). If you are itchy you can try cool washcloths, cold cucumbers or warm tea bags (which contain tanic acid and reduce inflammation). If you have any Benadryl or other antihistamines it%26#039;ll also help you. Stop using this around your eyes and you%26#039;ll be fine soon.
