Should Cephalexin be taken for acne treatment?

Cephalexin can be used for skin infections like cellulitis but it is not usually used for acne. First line antibiotics for acne include tetracyclines (including monocycline and doxycycline) and erythromycin. Clindamycin is used but usually topically as a lotion or gel.|||unless you have a boil or other serious infection it probably is not a good idea, you will just promote cephalexin resistant bacteria for no really good reason.

You could not take it long term as a diarrhea likely would develop.

Try washing hands (use just tap water, and only soap if soiled hands) before touching your face, including Salmon in you diet, ect.

Here is a medical link, Merck also has a home edition version:

The drug spironolactone they mention very likely promotes breast cancer, and is known to promote fatty tumors in general, remember that this link is from a drug company but otherwise reflects standard therapy.
